4. How Can I get that Support?

4.1 Tuition Fee Loan, Maintenance Loan and Maintenance Grant

Details of grants and loans available through the student loan company are given in the section entitled What statutory support can I get?

1) If you live in England, these loans and grants will be available through:

This website provides access to applying on-line for finance and further information.

2) Further information and application form for students from Wales are available from::

3) Further information for students from Scotland is available at:

4) If you live within the European Union, you are only entitled to tuition fees support. See What Statutory Support Can I Get?  For more information contact the EU services team.  Their contact details are provided under the “Useful Contacts” section of the Direct.gov website.

4.2 Training Bursary

The Training Bursary of £4,000 - £6,000 is available to UK and EU students.  It is paid to DSTTG directly from the TDA for all eligible students.  The payments are then made to you whilst on the course.  No formal application procedure is required as it is paid automatically by us to eligible students attending the course.
